Important News - From Sunday, 7th October 2006 the juggling club will be meeting at Alton Sports Centre in Alton (instead of the Memorial Hall in Farnham) at the usual time of 7:30pm until further notice. Please make it along if you can!

What's it all about

The Club was formed way back in the mists of time as a way for those interested in the circus arts to get together, swap knowledge, ideas and skills and most importantly, to provide somewhere out of the rain to practice.

Regular weekly meetings are held at Alton Sports Centre with the occasional social and special events thrown in during the year. There are many members of all abilities from complete beginners to professional entertainers. With the equipment available there are plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and there's always lots of advice available.

If you are thinking about coming along or have any questions then please call Tim or Joy Humpreys on 01256 704733.

Where and When

The clubs meets on a regular basis at Alton Sports Centre in... Alton, Hampshire, just off the A31 between Farnham and Winchester. The Sports Centre is located on Chawton Park Road just off the A31 (click here for a map provided by streetmap.co.uk).

Meetings are on a Sunday evening and run from 7:30pm until 9:30pm and there is a fee of just £3.00 for each session to cover hire of the hall.

The Rules

Ok, now for the important bit. With guys throwing all manner of objects into the air, others charging about on one wheeled wonders, poi being whirled around and people walking a tightrope, there needs to be some rules to ensure somebody, possibly you, doesn't get hurt and everybody gets to enjoy themselves.

  • Absolutely no fire juggling inside the Sports Centre.
